About iNEO

The International Network for Evaluation of Outcomes (iNeo) in neonates is a collaboration between an international group of neonatal networks that conducts research into the care and outcomes of extremely preterm/extremely low birth weight neonates. iNeo was founded in 2012 by Prakesh Shah and includes the neonatal networks of Australia-New Zealand, Canada, Israel, Japan, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. iNeo maintains a standardized neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) database and provides a unique opportunity for researchers to participate in collaborative projects on a national and international scale. Health care professionals, health services researchers and health administrators participate actively in clinical and epidemiological outcomes, health services, health policy and informatics research aimed at improving the efficacy and efficiency of neonatal care.

iNEO Meeting

The meeting being held on July 17th and 18th 2012 will serve to initiate collaborative efforts between these international neonatal networks engaged in benchmarking neonatal care and outcomes assessment within their geographically confined areas.
